This idea arose due to the growing number of people circulating in the university, a fact that stems from the creation of new courses and the increase in the number of vacancies of some existing ones, which made the number of students, professors and university employees increase and as the infrastructure has not been improved, today we have problems of lack of parking spaces for everyone. From this point of view, it was concluded that it would be interesting to increase the number of vacancies available. For that, the group analyzed the places where the parking spaces were more deficient and chose to build a new parking lot near the AT-5 and make the renovations and improvements in the existing one in front of the AT-6. Such places were chosen because the AT-7 was built next to the AT-5, but it does not have a parking lot, which means that the AT-5's parking lot does not support the number of cars, making inappropriate places are used for this, making it even more difficult to transit through the university. Regarding the AT-6, it is currently being used a lot and its parking is quite precarious, without asphalt, causing problems with mud during the rainy season and with dust in the dry season. For the successful completion of the project, the model given in class was followed and the following were developed: the Project Charter, the Project Scope and Scope Detailing, the identification of Activities and their duration, all of which will be presented below. PROJETO // 02 Risk Identification: The main obstacle to be faced is the non-release of funds by the government. Scope and project scope breakdown For the implementation of such a project it is necessary that the rectory accepts the idea and that it obtains the budget from the government. However, initially the project does not serve the entire university, the initial idea is to improve the parking lot of the AT6 and the construction of a new one near the AT5 and AT7, since these places were considered the worst in terms of parking. The initial plan, as already mentioned, does not fully cover the problem, and it would be necessary to know if the intention of the rectory and the federal government itself is to improve the university infrastructure or not. The project can be used immediately as a temporary solution, so that later, with due studies, it is possible to conclude whether or not it is feasible to expand it to the entire campus. Therefore, the first measure of the action plan to be taken is the presentation of the project to the rectory, once approved, the government must release the funds so that the implementation of the project can finally begin. Changes can occur in the scope of the project, the important thing is to be flexible for such changes and not treat them as problems. The project scope action plan, already mentioned, will now be worked on in order to understand the entire process of carrying out the project. The first step to be taken is to take the idea for approval of the project by the rectory. Once this step is completed, the project must be forwarded for approval and release of funds by the government, so that we can finally look for a company to do the service. The first two stages have their main complications in convincing those responsible for the project to start. As far as the actual execution of the work is concerned, there are many decisions to be made. The idea of the project is to make a simple parking lot in the AT5, that is, to level the land, at first next to the AT7, to pave it and mark the lines for the parking, as well as to implement the necessary signage, obviously making parking for motorcycles and special places for the disabled and elderly. For the renovation of the parking lot of AT6, it was thought of paving it, since it is now made of earth, in addition to placing signs, because despite the existence of the parking lot there is no signage, special spaces for the disabled and the elderly, in addition to parking for motorcycles and bicycles. The work would be carried out by a previously chosen company, which would have complete freedom to comment on the construction, materials used and even the chosen location, as they have experience in the matter. Obviously, it is necessary that there are people responsible for monitoring the works, in order to manage the execution of the project, monitoring the work time, quality of service, final cost, among other things. Finally, one should think about the maintenance of the parking lots, which would require care and even repairs to the signage, repainting of the markings on the ground, both for special spaces and for the parking lines, in addition to repairs to the asphalt, due to holes. It is important to point out here that all users must be careful with parking lots, as this will be a good for all and must be treated this way, so that the university can invest in other things and improve the campus more and more. Speaking specifically about changes in the scope of the project, the idea of expanding the project to the entire campus was launched, that is, making more parking lots. However, the group thinks that for the moment this should be put aside. The arguments for not changing the project are the possible lack of government support and the analysis that the points that are being changed are the ones that most need these vacancies. Another thought is that this project could be the beginning of a larger work, encompassing the entire campus, this project would be like an emergency measure so that later, and with better analysis, it can be extended to the entire university. Activities and activity schedule Below are the activities scheduled for the project, as well as the expected delay time for each of the activities: A – Collect data on the areas to be designed (measurements, photos, locations) and put together a presentation (1 week) B – Ask for technical information from the contacts of the Department of Transport Engineering at EESC-USP, as well as information about companies carrying out the work. (1 week) C – Conduct a survey of companies operating in the region. (1 week) D – Get in touch with interested companies to present the project and ask for quotes and then define a company to work with. (3 weeks) E – Submit the project to the authorities responsible for approving it (Rectorate of UFSCar, University City Hall and/or Ministry of Education) to carry out economic and legislative feasibility analyses. (2 weeks) F – Bid for the project (1 week) G – Set deadlines (1 week) H – Start the works. (2 weeks) I – Monitor, inspect and inspect the progress of the work. Ensure it is within the project scope.
